In the #OPAProtip series, I share bits of advice to help you have the most memorable and incredible experience possible when you come to a show at the Holland Performing Arts Center or Orpheum Theater. If there’s a topic you’d like me to shed light on, send an email to socialmedia@omahaperformingarts.org or leave a comment below this post.

At Omaha Performing Arts, we want you to have the best experience possible when you come to an event at the Holland Center or Orpheum Theater – and that experience starts before you purchase a ticket.

Last spring, I sat next to a woman at a Broadway show who told me the story of how she paid more than $100 each for her tickets and discovered the face value was less than $60. How does this happen? Third party ticket brokers, sources who resell tickets to our events.

How can you avoid overpriced and even fake tickets? The answer, luckily, is simple:

For the best seats, at the best prices and service, ONLY purchase tickets from Ticket Omaha.

Ticket Omaha is the official seller of tickets for all performances at the Orpheum Theater and Holland Performing Arts Center. If you purchase from any other source or website:

•  You may pay more than face value for your tickets.
•  Your tickets cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
•  We cannot contact you with crucial information about the show.

So, remember! If you’re shopping for tickets online, always double check your source. This includes Facebook events. Remind your friends and family, too!

We want you to have the best experience starting long before the curtain opens! You can purchase tickets from TicketOmaha.com, at our Ticket Omaha Box Office in the Holland Center lobby or by calling 402.345.0606.
