Do you love live music, Broadway performances and have a passion for the arts?

I do! That’s why I joined 40 Below, Omaha Performing Arts’ new young professionals group. In my first year as a member, I experienced incredible performances – and so much more. My expectations were exceeded as I made friends, met performers and gave back to my community.

We’re getting ready for another season of fun and volunteering. Here are three reasons why you should join 40 Below, too!

1.       Friends

Omaha Performing Art’s 40 Below has opened up a new group of friends for me that are all like-minded and enjoy the performing arts. It’s fun seeing shows and attending happy hours before performances.  Not only have I met new friends through this group, but I’ve also realized how many of my own friends love seeing shows, too!

2.       Behind-the-Scenes Experiences (and discounts, too!)

We get to experience really amazing behind-the-scenes events such as Lunch and Learns and exclusive invitations to events.  My friends and I always enjoy going to the Season Reveal at the Holland Center and get excited to see what to expect for the upcoming year! Members also get discounts to some great shows like the Broadway musicals like WAITRESS and other performances. I’ve enjoyed sharing my perks with my family and coming to the Holiday Lighting Ceremony at the Holland Center. There are so many fun activities to take part in through 40 Below!

3.        Giving Back

Giving back to the Omaha community is important to me, and it’s nice to know 40 Below helps champion Omaha Performing Arts' Education and Community Engagement programs. It’s important that everyone has access to the arts and 40 Below makes sure to do our part!
