In the #OPAProtip series, we share bits of advice to help you have the most memorable and incredible experience possible when you come to a show at the Holland Performing Arts Center or Orpheum Theater. If there’s a topic you’d like us to shed light on, email socialmedia@omahaperformingarts.org or leave a comment below this post.

If you're a current student with a valid student ID, today's #OPAProtip is for you: Join our Student Rush Club and start saving on tickets.

We think it's important to introduce young people to the arts. The Student Rush provides students of all ages the opportunity to experience the arts at an affordable cost. And, bonus, take a break from all that studying! How does the club work?

Step 1. Be a student
This club is exclusive to students of all ages and requires a valid student ID. Got one? Perfect, let's move to Step 2.

Step 2. Sign up
Register here! You'll receive emails when shows are offering Student Rush discounts. Through the club, tickets for select events can cost as low as $10. PLUS, members can receive 50% off some shows including Broadway. Not all shows offer Student Rush discounts, so check your email often for the latest deals.

Step 3. RUSH to the show & bring your ID
Student Rush tickets can only be purchased 90 minutes prior to the performance at the box office in the venue where the show is playing. Don't forget your student ID, which allows you to buy up to 2 tickets at the discount.

Learn more and sign up for the Student Rush on our website.
