It’s official! We will be hosting a master class with Broadway artist Laura Benanti on September 9th from 2 – 3 p.m. in the Holland Center Recital Hall.

Students will get the opportunity to observe and participate in a special master class focused on vocal audition technique with Laura Benanti, which will be led at the Holland Center.
Tony Award-winner Laura Benati just completed her 2016 Tony nominated role as Amalia Balash in the hit Broadway Musical, She Loves Me. She can now be seen touring the country in her latest solo show, Tales from Soprano Isle featuring songs from her career and life experiences. On television, Ms. Benati can be seen playing the role of Alura Zor-El in the CBS Action Drama, Supergirl. In 2014, she joined the cast of ABC's hit series "Nashville" guest-starring as songbird Sadie Stone. She also appeared in recurring roles on CBS's "The Good Wife" and HBO's "Nurse Jackie." In addition to television work and her critically acclaimed performance as Elsa Schrader in NBC's The Sound of Music LIVE, Ms. Benanti is a highly celebrated, five time Tony Award-nominated stage actress. She made her Broadway debut as Maria in The Sound of Music opposite Richard Chamberlain. Her Broadway credits include: The Sound of Music, Swing!, Into the Woods, Something Good, Nine, The Wedding Singer, Gypsy, In the Next Room, and Women of the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.
